As I mentioned in my last post, I have been paying a lot of attention to the predicted Interior Design Trends for 2020.

One of the biggest trends we are seeing is the “Non White Kitchen”.

Here are two gorgeous examples….the colours remind me of Farrow and Ball’s Green Smoke and Hague Blue.

It got me to thinking about my own kitchen which I designed a couple of years ago, with the help of my talented friend and fellow designer, Hali Gallerno, and Bloomsbury Fine Cabinetry.

Although I do love a crisp white kitchen, I have always loved colour. The first time I walked into what was soon to be my new home, I knew that the kitchen had to be a soft powder blue.

My mind instantly conjured images of the quintessential English country house kitchen and butler’s pantry….the classic framed cabinetry style….

So I called in the crew from Bloomsbury to help bring my vision to life.  Shortly after the kitchen was installed I was fortunate enough to have it featured in Home In Canada Magazine.

Many thanks to Bloomsbury and Home in Canada Magazine!
